Dear Representative,

I am writing as your constituent to urge you to support practical public policies that keep America the world leader in artificial intelligence while establishing responsible safeguards for increasingly powerful systems.

I do not believe America has to choose between innovation and safety. I reject both "stop AI" and "regulate nothing." The country needs a better path: develop extraordinary technology, understand its risks, create sensible guardrails, hold people and institutions accountable, and keep humans in control.

Please apply these tests to major AI legislation:

1. Does it protect Americans?
2. Does it preserve American innovation?
3. Does it strengthen national security?
4. Does it maintain meaningful human accountability?
5. Will it still work as AI becomes dramatically more capable?

In particular, I ask you to prioritize frontier AI safety evaluations, biosecurity and cybersecurity defenses, child safety online, human accountability for high-stakes decisions, and workforce transition for American workers.

America should lead. Leadership means more than building the most powerful AI. It means making sure powerful AI remains safe, secure, accountable, and under human control.
